| It said 10 miles but it seems the race ended just after nine? How long was it. Thanks...it was a blast for my first time. |

I noticed the same thing. The end of the bike leg couldn't have been a quarter mile past the 9th mile marker. I guessed that the miles were slightly mismarked from the begining since it appeared that the markets where set up just before the race.
Good question. |

To add to the bike distance confusion, the race results claim that the bike distance is 11 miles.
I'm sure this is a typo. |

According to race management and since this was also an official USAT sanctioned race, the overall distances were GPS'ed to the exact distances of the race. HOWEVER, the mile markers could have been easily moved or misplaced but this wouldn't affect the distance of the course. Hope this helps! |
