| Hello All. Just wanted to give all of our participants a quick reminder that we are entering the manatee mating season. You should try to avoid the manatee when possible as during this time of year they often become a little aggressive. They will sometime approach swimmers (particularly larger swimmers) mistaking them for a potential mate. If you find yourself face to face with one of Florida's many manatee do not panic as this only excites them further. The best thing a swimmer can do is to stay calm, let the manatee finish mating you, and calmly swim away. Fighting the manatee will only prolong the time they hold you under water to mate with you. You may want to apply some sort of anal lube before you enter the water just to speed the process if you are mounted by one of the animals. Good luck to everyone this weekend. |
