For all us first timers, it might help to put some information about the race numbers up here. The race packet provides three sets of numbers - but no information about them. For those of us that have run before, the running number is self evident. How about the other numbers? Are we supposed to mount one on our bike? I've read somewhere that our race number is supposed to be written on our shoulder for the swim.
Advice would be very much appreciated by we humble first timers.
Thank you! |

| well you know what to do with the running # - and it goes on the front of your shirt (or on a race belt), the small rectangle number is a sticker and that goes on the front of your helmet, and the large one with the two numbers on it and the sticky stuff on the flip side - that gets mounted to your seat post. There will people doing body markings in the AM whenyou get there to out your race number on you arms and legs... |
